Scholarship Policy

Brattleboro Youth Soccer Association provides a scholarship program to assist with a portion of the registration cost for need-based families of players selected to participate in our Storm youth soccer program. It is our goal to use these scholarship funds to help those who need it most. Scholarships will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis.

Requirements for eligibility:

• Applicant must be selected for a Storm travel team for the season of application

• The application must be completed by a parent, guardian, or head of household.

• Provide a written statement of immediate financial hardship explaining the current situation.

Additional Information:

• The scholarship only applies to the player registration fee.

• The scholarship will not be granted for registration fees already paid.

• The application must be submitted on time and will only be considered if the player is selected for the team.

• The scholarship will be awarded based on the financial need of the applicant and the availability of funds.

Application Process:

• To apply for a BYSA scholarship, please fill out the online application form.

• The approval process will be handled by the BYSA Scholarship Board.

• You will be notified via email of the status of your application. If the scholarship is granted you will receive additional information including a Discount Voucher Code that you will apply to the registration fee at the time of registration.

• Incomplete or late applications will be denied.
